

Blaine Lafontaine, President of the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, announced that due to Tropical Storm Gordon, the “State of the County Address” has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 13th at 8am at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis. The event is sponsored by member companies of the Hancock Chamber of Commerce and there is no fee to attend. LaFontaine represents District 3 and he will be joined by others members of the board: David Yarborough, District 1; Greg Shaw, District 2; Scotty Adam, District 4 and Darrin “Bo” Ladner from District 5.
“During this meeting, we want to present our accomplishments and introduce plans and recommendations on how we can move this county forward with a clear vision toward providing the quality of life our citizens deserve in Hancock County,” said LaFontaine.
The State of the County Address is hosted by the Hancock Chamber of Commerce and Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast.
