Hancock Co., Miss. June 1, 2022 – The Hancock Chamber of Commerce’s Salute to Business & Industry Awards Gala is officially set or August 25th at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast. The program for this event is centered around recognizing the people, businesses and organizations who are making a positive impact on Hancock County. Nominations for Businesses of the Year and the Top 10 Outstanding Citizens are open now through Friday, June 17th at 5 p.m.
Nominations should be made online at https://hancockchamber.org. The Top 10 Outstanding Citizens and Business of the Year Finalists will be announced on Thursday, June 30th. From there, voting for one Citizen of the Year and one Business of the Year for each of the different areas the Hancock Chamber serves: Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead, Waveland and Kiln/Hancock County will open to Chamber members. Voting is set to close The Businesses of the Year will be announced on Friday, July 22nd. The Citizen of the Year will be revealed at the Gala.
