Dec. 16, 2024 – The Hancock Chamber of Commerce announced the 2025 Ambassador Team at their Christmas Party on Dec. 11th held at The Club at Diamondhead. The new team represents all areas of Hancock County and a wide variety of industries. Melanie Hotard of Ochsner Health will lead the group as Chair.

“We can’t think of anyone better than Melanie to serve as our Ambassadors Chair,” said Tish Williams, Executive Director. “She was recognized as an Outstanding Citizen this year for her dedication and service to Hancock County. We look forward to engaging our membership through the group with Melanie at the helm.”

The Chamber Ambassadors play a critical role in member engagement and are considered the faces of the Chamber. They attend Hancock Chamber events, including ribbon cuttings, networking events, and membership meetings to help connect members to grow their businesses. Ambassadors engage with members, assist with event logistics, and foster connections within the community, ensuring businesses are supported and valued. They also assist the Chamber by sharing updates, encouraging participation, and connecting members with valuable resources. Serving as an Ambassador offers opportunities to grow professionally, expand networks, and develop leadership skills while contributing to the success of local businesses and the broader community.
