The Hancock Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Mitchell Distributing, proudly announces the 3rd Annual Bud & Burgers in the Bay, scheduled for Saturday, November 9th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic Hancock County Courthouse, located at 152 Main Street in Bay St. Louis.
This year’s event, chaired by Rich Chase of Silver Slipper Casino Hotel, promises to be bigger and better, featuring 10 local cooking teams competing for the ultimate grilling crown. Team registrations are open until October 25th, and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, best presentation, and the coveted people’s choice award.
“We’re thrilled to see Bud & Burgers return for its third year,” said Rich Chase, event chair. “This competition brings out the best in our local culinary talent, and it’s a fun way for the community to come together and enjoy great food, music, and company.”
Attendees can enjoy unlimited burger samples with their $20 entry, which also includes two drink tickets. Tickets for children ages 5 to 11 are just $5 and include unlimited burger samples and one drink ticket, while children under 5 enter for free. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Live music will be provided by local favorites, the Dave Mayley Band, setting the perfect atmosphere for a day of grilling and chilling.
Lodging partners for the event include Bay Town Inn, Silver Slipper Casino, and The Driftwood Motel, offering convenient accommodations for visitors to the area.
