Hancock Co., Miss. Mar. 12, 2019 – Debora Batchelor of The Peoples Bank has been selected to serve as Chairman of the new Hancock Chamber Ambassadors. The mission of the Ambassadors is to actively engage current members and promote the benefits of Chamber membership to prospective business members.
“I am honored to be appointed to serve in this important position for our community,” said Batchelor. “I believe in the work of the Chamber and I am looking forward to working with the awesome team we have recruited to engage our members to take advantage of the services the Chamber has to offer.”
Ambassadors are the front door to the Chamber attending ribbon cuttings, grand openings, after hours, groundbreakings, seminars, banquets and other member focused business events. “These are the things you know about the Chamber yet these are actually bonuses of membership not the reason businesses join,” said Batchelor.
“At the Chamber, we make their priorities our priorities.” Everything the Chamber does has a purpose to develop customers, increase income for area businesses, help businesses reduce expenses, and find skilled workers. Our Ambassadors will be on the ground listening to the needs of our members to grow their business and our community.
